Ltd

This place is awesome.
Each time I go visit the bearded Barista engages me in a light conversation about the coffee he is preparing for me. Not in a 'I know everything and I'm teaching you way' or even 'I can crap on about coffee way'. Today I had the Australian Nimbin coffee and it was very plummy and full of fruit that built to a big finish. It was extracted to perfection.

The vibe is always bright and happy and the walks are an artwork in progress. Cute and quirky. Very unique.

If I have no plans to max out on my own coffee I will return there often. And you know I will.

You should go there too. No, really you should. :)

New Adventures in coffee

Hello all.

A lot has changed since I last posted. I have been to many and varied cafe and coffee outlet and I have built my own espresso adventure.

With the support and guidance of Artslink Qld I have helped create Mr Rush. The gentleman of espresso bars if you would. Named after the Artslink associate artist Geoffrey Rush. And of course the rush you get from a well made coffee.

Our aim is to bring a new face to Artslink and the regional arts it promotes and to be a place for Art, coffee and conversation.

So far so good. The coffee is being received well and we are slowly growing the menu to one that is tasty, healthy and made in-house.

We have a signature drink called the Rushie. It has 10ml of Sweetened condensed milk topped with a fresh espresso shot. Mix it up to create a sweet syrupy espresso 'Slap in the Face!'. It is also known as Coppi.
Ok so it is not so 'healthy' but it tastes amazing.

Even though we are still waiting on our signage we are drawing in more and more people from the area and word is spreading fast.

Come in, say Hello.

See you for a Rushie!
