It would seem that I have ruined coffee for many people around me. They can no longer accept a mediocre cup. I have raised the bar. And for this, I am NOT sorry.
Still some work needs doing because I am sorry Flip by ground coffee in the cup with hot water does not a coffee make. Yes, it is better than Instant but it is still not a good cup of coffee. One should only avoid the grit in a Turkish coffee.
Thanks to me, my father-in-law has purchased a high end domestic machine. Not that I am complaining mind you. I get great coffee when I visit and I got his old Rancillio. Win win.
I am happy to have been the guy who raised the coffee standard around me. One cup at a time.
