Prenatal caffine

So I'm an 9 3/4 hours into the birth of our first child and the need for caffine has never been greater. There is really only one option for my fix and that is the Mater Fig Tree cafe. Aka the caf.

It looks like a nice cup.

The taste is quite strong but I really need it today. Perhaps that is why they use the blend they do. Hmm?

I need sleep but I can not see it coming to me any time soon.

I will keep you up to date as I am sure there will be more coffee had today.

A bit about Stefan and coffee...

Stefan, and he loves a double espresso! See Doppio

Having had many years of coffee experience behind him he knows a good coffee from a bad one. As a Coffee sommelier he has worked with coffee in one way or another for over twenty years and has a strong passion for well made coffee.

Recently he is working as a Coffee Trainer, teaching domestic and commercial coffee skills. This training includes learning good habits to help you work cleanly, efficiently and to help maintain your machine.

Stefan has worked with many different coffee companies and cafes: including Gaggia coffee machines as a demonstrator, Jasper coffee (Melbourne), as a coffee sales specialist and Barista and more recently as a Customer Support and Training coordinator for Blue Sky Coffee.

Having had limited experience with roasting we can assume that the roaster has presented a good batch and the comments will be about the "coffee maker", for the most part.

There are a few things that a typical "Barista*" can do to ruin the hard work of the roaster and that yield an average coffee experience.

But if the cup is good, your going to hear high praise and we encourage you to go there and have your own experience of it and let us know if we where just there on a good day or if we can herald to the world...
