Coffee Club

I'm at The Coffee Club again. I hope that this experience is better that some of the others I have had. I'm on Park rd so the standard should be higher right? You'd think.

Although my fear rises when Jules ordered her Flat White she was asked "in a cup or a mug?" mug? Are you serious?!

The gods are smiling again. This is quite a good cup. It is restoring my faith in the good people who named the joint.

Good pour. Nice crema. Smooth soft taste.

Phew!

A bit about Stefan and coffee...

Stefan, and he loves a double espresso! See Doppio

Having had many years of coffee experience behind him he knows a good coffee from a bad one. As a Coffee sommelier he has worked with coffee in one way or another for over twenty years and has a strong passion for well made coffee.

Recently he is working as a Coffee Trainer, teaching domestic and commercial coffee skills. This training includes learning good habits to help you work cleanly, efficiently and to help maintain your machine.

Stefan has worked with many different coffee companies and cafes: including Gaggia coffee machines as a demonstrator, Jasper coffee (Melbourne), as a coffee sales specialist and Barista and more recently as a Customer Support and Training coordinator for Blue Sky Coffee.

Having had limited experience with roasting we can assume that the roaster has presented a good batch and the comments will be about the "coffee maker", for the most part.

There are a few things that a typical "Barista*" can do to ruin the hard work of the roaster and that yield an average coffee experience.

But if the cup is good, your going to hear high praise and we encourage you to go there and have your own experience of it and let us know if we where just there on a good day or if we can herald to the world...

"A great espresso lives here!"
